    Wohoooo!

"Reading" week! Its been a really nice break! Man U beat Chelsea (he he he) and the England Argenina friendly was such a good match - 2 late goals from Owen making it 3-2 to england!

Grand prix masters tomorrow... SHOULD BE GREAT! Mansell is on pole... but his biggest rival starts second. Murray Walker commentates so it could be interesting. Oh well... computergame playing then sleep i think!

    NOT about football!

Let just skip the football issue shall we? Looking forwrd to the Grand Prix masters series... should be brilliant. With Murray walker commentating it should be really quite entertaining; "anything can happen in formula o... i mean grand prix masters, and it usually does. What, Mansells taken the lead!!! what happened to the leader?" [meanwhile former leader seen coming in for a routine pit stop].

In more...  (me)ish news life is still going well here in St Andrews despite the... more Scottish weather. With reading week (holiday in cleaver disguise) coming up and my 2 tests out of the way it is all now somewhat easier than last week. More worryingly, the sun has doubled in mass recently as i descovered to my amazement in my 1st astro lab... be afraid for a mysterious black hole ay be appearing out of seemingly nothing in a way we've never seen before. Well, either that or my experement went badly... either way i'm doomed. Hmm... in other news my bike needs new brake blocks... but i guess i'll stop here as i suppose no one really cares except for me.

    At St Andrews!

This blog has been rather out of date for a while! There is a reason for this...
    ...
...I'm enjoying uni so much (St Andrews) that i've not bothered to make an entry. Its now tea time so this entry will be short. The end... till i'm bored...!

    Back again!

Its ironic that when so much stuff to actually write about there's never enough time to do so! The weekend at Knockhill was excellent, seeing most of the spectacular crashes and some impressive driving, Evan Muller repeatedly driving through turn 1 on two wheels! The Saturday was dry, not that this helped James Pickford who went straight into a tyre wall, his car flipping into its roof, when his steering failed through the chicane! The Saturday consisting of mostly practice and qualifying, the majority of races (and all touring car races) took place on the Sunday. Rain made this particularly interesting, drivers going out in conditions for which they had had no practice and consequently, on more than one occasion, they ended up off the race track. However, the most comical moment had to be when the one Lexus driver crashed causing his team mate to crash also and putting them both out of the final race of the weekend! Race one was won by Muller who lies second in the championship but races two and three went to Matt Neal who, due to a Muller retirement in the final race, made a big step closer to clinching the drivers championship!

From Knockhill i traveled down to London - a night on the Mega bus in which i actually managed 4 hours of sleep! I had a great week in which i went to the Imax cinema, aquarium, science and natural history museums and also saw the latest Jet Li film Unleashed (it was brilliant - especially the fight scenes of which there were many!). Returning from London i went to my uncle James's and auntie Margaret's 25th wedding anniversary. It was really nice to see many members of my family who i hadn't seen for a while and we all had a good time catching up and playing uno! The Grand Prix isn't worth mentioning (Ferrari did badly) so... i guess that's about it, next step university... yay!

    Mancheter United 3 - 0 Debrecen

A comfortable night for Manchester United who progress to the group stages of the Champions League defeating Debrecen with a convincing 6-0 aggregate score. Heinze scored first, an unmarked header into an empty net the punishment for some dissapointing defending. The second half saw Heinze score again, another unmarked header, and a fantastic strike from Richardson making the scorline 3-0 on the night. It wasn't all good news for United however, they finished the match with just 10 men after Richardson took a knock to his knee leaving the field mid way through teh second half. Also Gary Neville faces a number of weeks out after suffering an injury in the first half.

Next interesting thing will be the BTCC (touring cars) race at Knockhill next sat/sun... full weekend reports will follow that!

The Ashes 3rd test is over....

Wow... a draw with England needing to take just 1 more wicket to win. The series remains at 1-1 so the remaining two matches are ever more important.

    Manchester United 2 - 0 Everton
